Route: commercial

Space the lander company sells to a paying customer; NASA does not select these.

On this route the lander company sold space on its lander to a customer, or flew hardware of its own choosing. NASA made no call and no selection for these payloads. The links are the customers' and companies' own announcements of the deals, where a saved copy exists.

Calls and selections

IM-1

IM-2

Peregrine Mission One

No call or release found for Colmena (Colmena-1, five micro-robots): The only saved record of Astrobotic's agreement with Mexico's space agency is a paywalled SpaceNews excerpt, which does not name Colmena. UNAM's own note of 4 January 2024 covers the launch, not the deal. No saved announcement by Astrobotic, the agency or UNAM.

No call or release found for Mobile Autonomous Prospecting Platform (MAPP) rover: Lunar Outpost's own rover. Who paid for its ride on IM-2 is not in public sources, and no saved announcement covers the deal. NASA's release of 3 December 2020 chose Lunar Outpost to collect regolith and sell it to NASA; that is a purchase of lunar resources, not a ride.

No call or release found for Lunar Radiometer (LRAD): Intuitive Machines added DLR's radiometer to its hopper as a guest payload; the hopper's Tipping Point review of September 2022 lists it as a new payload. No saved DLR or Intuitive Machines announcement of the agreement.

No call or release found for YAOKI rover: Dymon's own release, 'Dymon signed a contract to fly the lunar rover YAOKI on Intuitive Machines' second mission to the Moon' (6 January 2023), is listed on Dymon's site but not saved. The only saved source for the earlier 2019 agreement with Astrobotic is Wikipedia.

No call or release found for MiniPIX TPX3 SPACE radiation monitor: Who bought its ride on IM-2 is not in public sources. ADVACAM's 2021 note covers a booking on IM-1, in Louisiana State University's Tiger Eye 1 experiment. That unit is not among IM-1's flown payloads, and no source ties it to the IM-2 unit.

No call or release found for Navigation Doppler Lidar (NDL), Psionic-built copy of the engineering test unit, Hazard Detection (HD) Lidar: These are Astrobotic's own landing sensors on Griffin, not payloads sold to a customer, so there is no payload deal or NASA selection to link. Astrobotic developed the hazard detection lidar for Griffin and had Psionic build its NDL unit. When it ordered the NDL, and on what terms, is not public.
